Accommodation

Accommodation, in other words, housing / residences are a key contributor to CO2 emissions linked to human activity.  This is a direct result of the use of these buildings and the complete construction life cycle: building construction, building heating, hot water, electricity production, waste management… Residential and tertiary building sectors include some of highest producers of greenhouse gas in the world (7.9% of world emissions in 2004[1]). Thermal renovation, eco-building and eco-design, waste recovery, collective buildings and eco-districts are all pro-active climate solutions.  Discover the solutions and initiatives that are already in place!
